DuPont Chemical Solutions (DuPont) announces that it will offer direct licensing to customers of aniline technology, effective immediately. This provides customers with the opportunity to access customized and cost-effective design and to have direct contact with world-leading experts.

“DuPont has more than 50 years of aniline operating experience and our knowledge of science and technology in this area is unparalleled,” said James L. Withrow, global business director, DuPont Chemical Solutions. “Direct licensing will enable DuPont to more effectively deliver a broad range of aniline technology options.”

DuPont aniline technology has been the choice for all new licensed aniline plants built since 2006, and DuPont technology will have brought online more than 2.34 million metric tons of new aniline capacity in nine years at eight new aniline plants around the world. For the last decade DuPont has licensed aniline technology through Kellogg, Brown and Root (KBR) and will continue to support current licensees through plant completion and startup.

“After careful consideration, providing manufacturers with direct licensing was the best choice for our customers, to allow them broader access to all DuPont technologies and offerings with one-stop shopping,” added Withrow. “We remain committed to our customers and relationships and will work to provide quality service to aniline manufacturers.”
