Silicon-based thin film photovoltaic technology uses cost-effective  and abundant  amorphous silicon to meet global electricity demand more sustainably.

With a more simplified manufacturing process, compared with other technologies, DuPont Apollo silicon-based thin film PV modules use far less silicon materials and consume much less electricity during production , resulting in a shorter energy payback time and less emission.  Absent of materials that are either limited in reserve or toxic in the supply chain, safety and environmental responsibility are key principles under which DuPont Apollo operates

Environmental Policy
DuPont Apollo commitment: By implementing and maintaining the Environmental Management System (EMS, ISO 14001), we will continuously improve our environmental protection performance and resource utilization, and will make an endeavor to prevent pollution in order to achieve the goal of zero waste and zero emission.

We also commit to complying with all applicable laws and regulations, ISO 14001 requirements, and other applicable standards in our manufacturing  and distribution activities. We will advocate DuPont Commitment of all the principles of “Safety, Health and Environment Stewardship” (Corporate SHE Standard S2Z).
