Brasilian Highway BR101, crosses 12 states

brasil br101Brasil's federal highway BR-101, also called Translitorânea, runs the length of Brazil. Starting at the city of Touros and the finishing at São José do Norte, the road covers almost 3,000 miles, crossing 12 states to form part of the Pan-American Highway. In 2004, contractor Amorim Barreto chose binder made with Elvaloy® RET for an 82-km section of BR-101 in Bahia, to help assure a long-lasting pavement, meeting local hot mix specification CBUQ Faixa "C".
