PMA chosen to handle extreme cold in Magadan, Russia

Magadan airportAirport paving is part of essential infrastructure anywhere. In Magadan, Russia, reconstruction of a landing strip, ramp, taxiways and a drainage system was undertaken using Elvaloy® RET to allow the local airport to receive heavier aircraft (up to 500 tons). The airport's location in a cold region of Russia required extra attention to binder specification for thermal crack resistance, as well as the heavier load-handling.
