Elvaloy® RET delivers superior road life in Oregon "high desert" region

Oregon's "high desert" region is where some of the earliest roads were paved using binders modified using reactive elastomeric terpolymer technology versus several other modification methods. Sections built by the Oregon Department of Transportation (DOT) using Elvaloy® RET modifier in 1991 outlasted all other modified binder sections, in a service environment marked by heavy truck traffic, severe temperature ranges and use of studded snow tires, which caused the only notable damage after 15 years.
