Pakistan motorways use latest polymer-modified bitumen technology

In Pakistan, modernization of highway infrastructure has included several projects paved using polymer-modified bitumen made with Elvaloy® RET. Examples include:

  • Motorway M-1, 153 km from Islamabad to Peshawar, 6 lanes
  • Motorway N-5, 50 km from Lahore to Gujranwala, 6 lanes
  • Motorway N-5, 43 km from Hyderabad to Halla (southbound), 2 lanes
  • Rahimyar Khan Trial Section
Contractors using RET have enjoyed hot mix asphalt consistency, easy spreading and compaction, and excellent road performance using this technology.
