Application Description
DuPont Tyvek® TransCovers™ are new vehicle transport covers that offer superior protection for newly painted vehicles while they are in transit from the assembly plant to the dealership.
Materials Selected and Why
DuPont™ Tyvek® is a nonwoven structure made of flashspun, high-density polyethylene. It is naturally tear- and puncture-resistant. The lightweight material guards against scratches, acid rain, dirt, dust and outside hazards, protecting new vehicle surfaces while in transit.
