DuPont™ Vespel® Earns Valeo Supplier of the Year Award
DuPont™ Vespel® parts and shapes business received a ‘2007 Supplier of the Year’ award from Valeo Wiper Systems North America for meeting all quality, cost and delivery standards.
“Valeo wishes to recognize the suppliers that had the best QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) performance on 2007, respecting the ‘Zero Quality Defects Now!’ policy and showing continuous improvement,” said Jorge Olivares Motilla, commodity manager for Valeo Wiper Systems – North America Division.
“We are honored to receive this ‘Supplier of the Year’ award for exceeding expectations in the areas of quality, delivery, responsiveness and cost,” said Volker Plehn, marketing manager for DuPont™ Vespel® parts and shapes – North America Transportation. “DuPont™ Vespel® was honored for its outstanding performance in supplying millions of thrust plugs for use in wiper systems which permit Valeo to meet their system requirements while keeping overall system costs low.”
Ronnie Weitzner, DuPont Automotive Engineering Polymers industry leader - Mexico, received the award from Ricardo Luca, Valeo Wiper Systems purchasing director and Jorge Juarez Valeo Wiper Systems quality manager in June in a ceremony at the Valeo Plant in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
