Krytox® lubricants are nonflammable, chemically inert oils and greases that offer thermal stability for automotive and industrial applications including bearings, seals, and gaskets.
The line of Krytox® Performance Lubricants is based on various weight perfluoropolyethers (PFPE), and are compatible with all elastomers, metals and plastics. Krytox® does not form gummy carbon deposits and lasts up to 50 times longer than hydrocarbon-based lubricants, cutting down on reapplication and cleanup time, and eliminating environmental disposal problems.
Krytox® lubricants provide Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) with significant cost savings when specified for use during the design phase. By lengthening the life of critical components, Krytox reduces repair costs and potentially saves millions of dollars in warranty claims.
