DuPont™ ALESTA® powder coatings are solvent-free(zero VOC) and do not contain either lead or TGIC with selected formulas.
The new product line, Alesta Cool, is powder Coatings with Solar reflective properties to decrease heat build up on the coated surface. Lower heat build up will lower energy consumption for air conditioning of buildings in warmer climates as well as increase the life time for the coating itself.
Solar reflective coatings reflect the sunlight that otherwise would be absorbed and later re-emitted as heat which keep cities cool and reduces the generation of smog and lower the impact on the environment.
