For opportunities in Research and Development, we generally recruit scientists and engineers with doctorate degrees or those who have completed post doctorate work. We do occasionally consider candidates with other graduate degrees (masters) who have completed study and/or have experience in areas of particular interest to our work. We are looking for "research scientists" who have a clear business focus and can help our organization provide knowledge-based products and processes to advanced materials and polymer-linked businesses in DuPont. Successful candidates will be team players with good interpersonal skills who can apply their knowledge and experience in ways that demonstrate the capability to be innovative and flexible in their approach to business challenges. Currently, our research scientists bring a diverse range of expertise to our work having completed formal education in fields such as chemistry, physics, mathematics, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering and modelling, and polymer science / engineering.

For opportunities in Engineering, we generally recruit engineers with undergraduate or graduate degrees who have attained their professional engineering registration or who are eligible to do so. Depending on our engineering business needs, we may hire current year engineering graduates or we may be looking for experienced engineers. Currently, our engineering organization relies on the technical expertise afforded by a range of engineering disciplines, including chemical, mechanical, civil, industrial, electrical, instrumentation & control, and computer engineering. Such engineering expertise is applied in various areas, including capital projects, support to operations, research and development, and providing engineering solutions to marketing projects with customers.
