Group Product Manager - DuPont Crop Protection

General Purpose
- Manage the insecticides portfolio of the Company
Principal Accountabilities
Responsible for developing programs, events, activties and marketing communications to ensure appropriate demand generation/creation for all insecticide products consistent with the business objectives.
- Implement marketing strategies of insecticide portfolio to achieve business objectives.
- Create/Develop marketing tools to help sales and field promotions people execute and deliver result;
- In conjunction with marketing manager and leadership team, evaluates projects through financial feasibility studies, market research and planning.
- As required, prepare market and/or customer assessments.
- Monitor and analyse competitive, statutory, environmental, economic, political, and climactic conditions to better understand the markets served.
- Conduct or commission appropriate market research to determine VOC inputs on a periodic basis as well as ad hoc studies as required.
- Develop Marketing Communications and implement strategies, plans, and programs following established business objectives.
- Develop and establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing programs.
- Conduct pricing studies on portfolio in order to ensure optimum Price Value Capture and maximize profitability.
- Sales Information – develop/streamline sales information system to support sales analysis;
- Ensure that all MC materials conform to established DCP and DuPont guidelines.
- Administration – budgeting, deployment of resources for training, etc.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years work experience in marketing. (exposure to sales and crop protection products an advantage)
- A Bachelor's degree or any specialized related courses
- Must possess organizing/planning and interpersonal skills
- Must exercise good judgement using analytical skills on areas/problems arising related to sales strategies ans implementation of plans
- High proficiency in speaking and writing English
- Must be very good in networking
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel,Word, Powerpoint,etc.)
- Proactive and able to work independently
