Most recently I have had the wonderful opportunity to work as an Internal Auditor in DuPont Internal Audit. I have also gained experience as a Business Analyst in DuPont Performance Coatings and as a Financial Analyst in Information Technology and Solutions over the previous two summers.
In DuPont Internal Audit, no two weeks, or even two days for that matter, ever seem to be the same. I have had the opportunity to work on several different teams in performing audits. The audits themselves, which are usually scheduled for two or three weeks at a time, aim to assess the internal controls of a process. After assessing the level of internal controls, we then aim to identify improvement opportunities that will allow the business to minimize risk and add value to the process.
I joined DuPont for many reasons. First, the global nature of the company presents limitless opportunities for personal development and growth. The experiences that one can enjoy at DuPont are countless given its diversity of business operations and locations throughout the world.
Secondly, the company's commitment to education and personal development is evident in DuPont Finance University, which provides employees the opportunity to attend courses that will allow them to sharpen their financial skills and continuously improve their knowledge base.
