The Finance Field Program is a commitment to professional growth. The program offers candidates world-class experience and training via three - 2 year rotational assignments during the first 6 years of the individual's career. Program participants start the program in an accounting, tax or business organization to build the foundation needed to excel in future assignments. Although most initial assignments are located in Wilmington, Delaware, a few starting opportunities are located at other company business centers, such as Richmond, Virginia or Nashville, Tennessee. Following assignments are determined based on individual skill, interest, and business need and could be in any of the DuPont Finance functions across the US (and in some cases may include international assignments).
Most Finance function assignments are located in the greater Wilmington, Delaware area, so most of a typical career will reside in this area with occasional opportunities for relocation. Finance has a presence across the DuPont Company in every plant site, business unit, function, and major subsidiary across the US and around the world. Candidates will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in finance functions which include corporate and business accounting (financial / cost / managerial), internal controls, tax (tax, federal and international), mergers & acquisitions, treasury, and credit. The Finance Field Program is dedicated to developing successful professionals and future leaders via challenging assignments, targeted and individualized career paths, and mentoring by experienced Finance professionals. The program is designed with all the tools necessary to prepare candidates for a challenging career with DuPont.
The Finance Field Program partners with the Finance Intern and Co-op programs to identify qualified candidates. Other candidates will be identified via the Finance Staffing group year round.
