The world is changing and with it the need for smarter and more renewably sourced products for manufacturers. So we thought it was time to take a hard look at the world around us. We found it all came down to one very tough question; how can we help to reduce our collective impact on the environment, while still providing a high-performance product? Then we did what we always do when faced with a big challenge – we put science to work. By combining over 200 years of DuPont scientific expertise with our extensive knowledge of polymer science, we developed Cerenol™– a family of high-performance polyols (polyether diols) made with renewably sourced 1,3 propanediol (Bio-PDO™).
