DuPont Chambers Works Launches External Website

In an ongoing effort to provide up-to-date and accurate information to the community, the DuPont Chambers Works plant today launched its new public website, offering interested parties a wide variety of information regarding the plant and its employees. The website can be viewed at www.chambersworks.dupont.com.

"We are pleased to offer neighbors of our community this new information source," said Bland Dickey, DuPont Chambers Works plant manager. "The new website will provide an easy-access source of information for people interested in learning about the Chambers Works facility and the importance we place in our relationship with the community."

The website will provide visitors with information about the DuPont Chambers Works facility including the plant's products, economic impact, community service, and public safety. The site also contains a newsroom where individuals can browse recent and archived news releases and find plant contact information.

The DuPont Chambers Works site has operated in Southern New Jersey for more than 90 years, and today the site employs approximately 900 DuPont employees and 300 contract partners who manufacture about 500 products for 17 global markets including automotive, stain repellants and protectants, and agriculture. Employees also manufacture intermediates for Kevlar® and Nomex®, which, among other things, are used to make police and military body armor and protective clothing used by firefighters.
