Wet Electrostatic Precipitators use well-proven technology innovations that overcome the deficiencies of traditional tube-type designs, and precipitators that make extensive use of lead or non-conductive plastics. There are no wires and no lead collection surfaces. The BELCO® Wet Electrostatic Precipitators use parallel up-flow gas passages, rigid mast emitting electrodes, conductive fiberglass-reinforced plastic (C-FRP) or metallic collection plates within a fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) or metallic shell.
