The DuPont Safety Awards were launched in 2002 with the purpose of stimulating individual or collective initiatives for safety enhancement and accident prevention, in the Europe, Middle-East and Africa region.
Recipients of this Award are acknowledged for their commitment to safety and operational discipline as a business necessity as much as a moral obligation.
Award winners will be recognised and will publicly receive an award trophy at an Awards Ceremony organized by DuPont on October 15th, 2009 in Belgium.
We invite you to promote your achievements and help us recognise the most significant contributions in the field of safety. Because nothing matters more than saving lives.
Consideration is given to applications submitted by legal entities who have executed a Safety initiative within the European continent, Middle East and Africa.
Prizes are awarded in five different categories:
· Performance Improvement
· Innovative Approach
· Visible Management Commitment
· Sustainable Business Impact
· Cultural Evolution
Evaluation criteria consist of the following:
- Design & Innovation: What is special about your approach?
- Results: What are the results achieved by (or expected from) your project?
- Replicability: Is your project replicable across other regions or business sectors?
- Risk: Which and how were risks addressed before, during and after the project?
- Scope: How wide or specific is the scope of your project? (Extent of impact)
