Andreas Farkas: Serving board made with DuPont™ Corian® for cheese
“I have decided on designing a serving board for cheese. This product is suitable for cheese but also for other desserts, like chocolate and berries. The shape has been developed during as series of tests and the size is given by how a regular cheese plate is set. The idea basically came by looking into Steltons product range and noticing that this would work as a great addition to the collection.
This serving board is made of two parts. The bottom tray in polished stainless steel, to be used for storage or even to cool down food items. The top is a bright DuPont™ Corian® suggested in colours like Antartica, Clam shell or Lava Rock. I really like how the two materials work together, both hygienic and easy to clean, the rounded softness of DuPont™ Corian® adds a lot of warmth to the cool steel.”
