Thursday, May 30, 2013- Solid Surface: Innovation Taking Shape w/ fabrication expert on hand!
- This presentation provides an understanding of the basics of solid surface and its capabilities as a design material. Learn the basic characteristics of solid surface that allow it to be an ideal design material to be used in both horizontal and vertical applications.
Joining us for this presentation to answer your general solid surfacing questions will be John Womer, Fabrication Manager for Corian® & Zodiaq®. John specializes in Solid Surface fabrication and installation and is responsible for the certification of approved Fabricators. Take advantage of this opportunity to earn credit and gain insight on the fabrication of solid surfaces.

 | Biography Rosalyn Cama, FASID is the President and Principal Interior Designer of the evidence-based planning and design firm CAMA, Incorporated in New Haven, CT. CAMA, Incorporated’s mission is to partner with its clients, in support of their strategic plan, in the creation of interior environments that improve outcomes. | ||
CAMA Incorporated was founded in 1983 and has completed design work for many clients nationwide in the area of healthcare and academic settings for higher education. Most notably Yale-New Haven Health System, Princeton Healthcare System, OhioHealth, Baystate Health System, Medical College of Georgia Health, and The University Medical Center El Paso. Ms. Cama has served as the twenty-fourth President of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and currently serves as chair of the board for the Center for Health Design. Ms. Cama holds a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction in Interior Design and Textiles from the University of Connecticut. She is a frequent writer and lecturer on the topic of evidence-based healthcare design. Ms. Cama has authored Evidence-Based Healthcare Design, John Wiley & Sons, Inc. publisher, released in 2009. | |||

Summary: This presentation provides information on the key factors which contribute to the spread of infection and ho to keep those factors to a minimum. The course will provide specific infection control precautions for everyday, on-the-job activities so you can develop an infection control program for your facility. - 12/1/11: Understanding Quartz Surfaces –Innovation Taking Shape
Summary: This presentation provides an understanding of the evolution of various types of stone surface material as well as the basic composition and manufacturing of quartz.
