Effective August 1st, 2008, Jonathan Cohen is appointed global marketing manager for cosmetic & personal care packaging at DuPont Cosmetic Solutions. Jonathan replaces Danielle Blomert, who held this position since 2005. Jonathan Cohen brings 10 years of marketing, sales, business and product management experience in the food, retail, packaging and automotive industries in Europe and the USA. Prior to joining DuPont, he worked in consulting for major consumer, retail and industrial companies and in product management at Danone. He also held various marketing leadership positions within DuPont, the latest being that of European marketing programs manager for renewable packaging materials. Born in Paris, Jonathan holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a Master in Economics from Université Paris Dauphine. Danielle Blomert is appointed Global Business Manager, DuPont Polymer Powders, another division of DuPont supplying micro-powders and speciality additives to the global cosmetic industry, located in Switzerland.
In a related move, Michel Decodts, market development manager at DuPont Cosmetic Solutions, succeeds Jonathan as European marketing manager for renewable packaging materials. Based in Paris, Michel has had global responsibility for DuPont Packaging’s development programs for the cosmetic solutions and personal care sector since 2000. A qualified chemical engineer from Besancon, France, he joined DuPont in 1977 and has held numerous positions within the DuPont Performance Materials platform, including roles as a sales and marketing manager and as European Development Program Manager for the automotive and construction markets.
