This season, growers contracting their corn and wheat harvest for delivery to Husky Energy will qualify for special savings on their DuPont crop protection products.
Husky Energy is currently contracting Western Canadian corn and wheat for processing at its two state-of-the-art ethanol plants at Lloydminster, Saskatchewan and Minnedosa, Manitoba. DuPont Crop Protection and Pioneer Hi-Bred have partnered with Husky Energy to promote this forward contracting opportunity to their customers and provide these special savings.
Red winter wheat, Canada Prairie spring red, Canada Prairie spring white, Canada Western soft white and any corn hybrid are all eligible for contracting through this program.

Through this special offer, DuPont customers can save on a variety of herbicides. “We are giving additional savings to these growers – over and above any savings they can achieve through our existing programs,” explains Ambach. “It’s perfectly acceptable for them to double dip in this case!” Growers can get all the details of the offer from Husky Energy, their DuPont rep or their Pioneer Hi-Bred rep.
