The broad spectrum weed control of DuPont^™ Refine^® M herbicide tank-mix has been expanded this year with the addition of dandelion control for fall and spring rosettes less than 15 cm in diameter. It has also been registered for use with Axial^™ as a tank-mix partner. Plus, growers no longer need to add surfactant to their tank when using Refine^® M by itself.

“Refine^® M offers growers sharp control of dandelion, wild buckwheat up to the 5-leaf stage, all types of volunteer canola and many other broadleaf weeds,” comments Travis Schoonbaert, DuPont Canada Cereals and Oilseeds Product Manager. “Growers now have additional tank-mix flexibility to select the wild oat product of their choice, without worrying about wild oat antagonism.”

Refine^® M has active ingredients from 2 different herbicide Groups (Groups 2 & 4) making it an excellent tool for resistance management.

It can be applied on spring wheat, winter wheat, durum, barley and oats from the 3-leaf to just prior to the flag leaf stage of the crop. It is rain-fast two hours after application and there are no re-cropping restrictions the following year.

Powered by Solumax^™ soluble granules, Refine^® M dissolves completely in the tank to provide faster, easier and more consistent sprayer clean out, which lowers the risk to subsequently sprayed crops such as peas or canola. Solumax^™ soluble granules also increase the bio-availability of the active ingredient to the plant resulting in fast, effective, more consistent weed control.
