More convenient packaging provides efficiency for growers
Controlling hard-to-kill weeds in conventional or glyphosate-tolerant soybeans just got more convenient for larger-acreage growers. DuPont™ Guardian™ Big Guy herbicide tank-mix delivers all the benefits of Guardian™ in an easy-to-use, convenient, larger format.
“Large-acreage soybean growers will get all the great performance they’ve come to expect from Guardian™ with the added convenience and savings of the larger format,” says Dave Kloppenburg, senior sales territory manager.
DuPont™ Guardian™ BG provides control of hard-to-kill weeds including yellow nutsedge, dandelion and sow thistle. Guardian™ can be applied as a pre-plant burndown on conventional and glyphosate-tolerant soybeans or in-crop in glyphosate-tolerant soybeans only. It has knockdown and residual activity on many annual broadleaf weeds and grasses. With two modes of action (Group 9 and Group 2), Guardian™ also delivers effective resistance management.
The new Guardian™ BG is designed to cover 600 acres. Big Guy delivers 432 L of highload glyphosate in a one-way tote, sold with matching premeasured pouches of dry product. Disposal is simple: growers can return rinsed totes to their retailers.
