Timing

Add Express® SG to your glyphosate° in pre-seed burn-off, chem-fallow and/or post-harvest applications.  See label for registered crops, timing and re-crop information.

Crop Rotation

Pre-seed burn-off: Seed spring wheat, durum, barley, oats or canary seed 24 hours after a pre-seed burn-off.

Chem-fallow: Allow at least 10 days to elapse between treatment and tillage. Any cereal crop (including winter wheat) can be seeded 24 hours after application. Two months after application, you can also plant canola, flax, lentils, or alfalfa.

Fall application: Seed winter wheat 24 hours after application. Next spring, you can plant any cereal crop, canola, flax, lentils, canary seed or alfalfa.

Application Information

Rates: 6 g/ac. One (1) jug treats 80 acres.

Surfactant: Not required when tank-mixed with Roundup WeatherMAX® or a minimum of 0.4 L/ac of glyphosate°. If applying the 0.3 L/ac glyphosate rate, the addition of a recommended non-ionic surfactant (NIS) at 3.5 L per 1000 L of spray solution (0.35% v/v) is required.

Water volume: 22 L/ac (5 imp. gal/ac).

Mixing Instructions:

  1. Always start with a clean and empty sprayer tank.
  2. Fill the tank 1/3 to 1/2 full of clean water.
  3. With the agitator running, add the required amount of Express® SG. Continue to agitate for a minimum of 5 minutes to ensure that Express® SG is completely dissolved.
  4. Make sure there are no undissolved granules, and then add the required amount of the tank-mix partner.
  5. Add the glyphosate° to the tank. If the tank-mix partner is an Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC), reduce agitation to avoid inducing an invert emulsion. Once dissolved, Express® SG will remain in solution.
  6. Add the rest of the water.
  7. If required for the tank-mixture, add surfactant. If an anti-foaming agent is required, add last.
  8. Refer to the section Specific Tank-mix Directions for mixing order and other mixing instructions.
  9. For repeat tank loads, reduce the materials remaining in the tank to 10% of the original volume or less before proceeding with Step 1, because remaining chemicals may prevent Express® SG from completely dissolving. If this is not possible, pre-slurry Express® SG in a small amount (5 L to 10 L) of water before adding to the tank. Spray preparation should be used within 24 hours or product degradation may occur.
