Active ingredients:

  • Chlorimuron-ethyl (Group 2 – broadleaf herbicide)
  • Glyphosate (Group 9 – non-selective herbicide)

Rate: One (1) jug treats 10 acres (4 ha).

Surfactant: For post-emergent application use a registered nonionic surfactant (NIS) such as Agral 90 or Ag-Surf at 2 L per 1000 L of spray solution (0.2% v/v). A NIS is not required in pre-plant burndown applications.

Window of Application

Guardian provides enhanced performance of hard-to-kill weeds plus the residual activity keeps the field clean during the CWFP.  It also helps to manage resistance by introducing another herbicide group to your program.

Crop: Pre-plant burndown or in-crop on glyphosate-tolerant soybeans, from the 1st trifoliate to 3rd trifoliate.
