Prism® is absorbed through the leaf surface, halting the production of a weed’s essential building blocks, stopping growth and reducing competition with the crop. On perennial weeds like quackgrass. Prism® is translocated through the plant including the roots.
One (1) bottle contains 480 g of product.
Apply 24 g/ac (60 g/ha). One (1) bottle treats 20 acres (8 ha). Add a registered non-ionic surfactant (NIS) such as Agral 90 or Ag-Surf at 2 L per 1000 L of spray solution (0.2% v/v).
Potatoes: Time the application of Prism® to the stage of the weed.
Optimum control is generally achieved when weeds are small and actively growing. Spray annual grasses in the 1-leaf to 6-leaf stage (up to early tillering, two 2-leaf tillers). Apply before the crop canopy can interfere with the spray coverage of target weeds and prior to the initiation of flowering of the potato crop.
Processing field tomatoes: Apply Prism® three (3) weeks after processing tomatoes are transplanted.
