Group 1A – carbamate insecticide
Vydate® affects nerve impulse transmissions and is active via direct contact or by ingestion. Foliar applications of Vydate® translocate down into plant roots. When soil applied, it moves systemically through the roots and upward to the canopy. Vydate® is effective against many pests at any stage of their life cycle – adults, nymphs and larvae.
One (1) jug contains 10 L of product.
Potatoes: As a foliar treatment, apply Vydate® at 0.92 L/ac to 1.2 L/ac (2.3 L/ha to 3 L/ha) in 120 L to 360 L of spray solution. Thorough coverage is very important.
Non-bearing apple trees: As a foliar treatment of insects, apply Vydate® at 1.5 L to 3 L per 1000 L of water.
Raspberries: As a soil drench treatment, apply 3.8 L/ac (9.5 L/ha).
Potatoes: Apply as a foliar spray when insects first appear and repeat weekly or as needed.
Non-bearing apple trees: For control of insects and mites, apply Vydate® as a foliar spray when insects first appear and repeat as needed to maintain control. For nematodes, apply a liquid drench followed by a foliar application of Vydate® in the spring.
Raspberries: Make one (1) application in the fall as a soil drench over the roots.
