Sourcing & Logistics

   Job Purpose:

Candidate will join the Global Sourcing Service Center organization within DuPont Sourcing and Logistics. Will manage internal purchasing requests for a certain commodity and / or geographic area within EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa), and all the activities associated with the buying process complying with DuPont's policies.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Execute the buy process for low value and non-strategic goods & services: request quotations, award and submit purchase orders.
  • Create and maintain purchasing documents in DuPont's systems.
  • Payment problems resolution (investigation and improvement).
  • Vendor Master management: create, maintain and approve suppliers in DuPont's systems.
  • Monitor and execute all transactions according to DuPont's internal controls and policies (Buy-Release-Receipt-Pay).
  • Communicate and coordinate actions among all internal and external stake-holders to effectively assure supply of goods and services.
  • Administration and reporting as necessary (from DuPont's systems and external sources).
  • Transactional system and process support to DuPont strategic buying team.
  • Liaison with regional and global buying teams, providing information & analytical support in alignment with their goals on portfolio management and savings.
  • Drive continuous improvement on the most efficient use of the appropriate sourcing tools.

Background Education and Language Skills:

  • University undergraduate (College degree) or in last year of studies.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Czech. Candidates without these language skills will not be considered.

Computer Skills:

Computer-literate performer with basic software knowledge covering a variety of applications, preferably MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Literacy and Numeracy:

Analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining simple work processes.

Business, Buying and Negotiation Skills:

Basic buying and/ or negotiation skills would be a plus. All business, buying and negotiation knowledge to be developed on the job.

Teamwork Ability:

Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues. Capable of working with others to achieve results.
 
Possible relocation package will be discussed depending on candidate and business conditions.
