DuPont DeLisle plays a major role in the Mississippi Gulf Coast economy. The total economic impact of DuPont DeLisle operations on Mississippi’s economy is 2,834 jobs, more than $203 million in total impact and almost $13 million in tax revenue.

For the Gulf Coast area, the DeLisle facility means an annual economic impact of almost $153 million and 2,500 jobs. The facility directly employs nearly 1,000 people with an annual payroll of $53 million.

Approximately 20 percent of our DeLisle employees live in the DeLisle/Pass Christian area. Nearly 82 percent of our employees live in Harrison, Hancock and Jackson Counties with more than 91 percent of them living in the six coastal Mississippi counties.

Our annual payroll is $53.3 million. Supplier and partnering relationships equal $262 million.

The DeLisle site pays approximately $1.7 million in annual sales and use taxes. Property taxes are approximately $3.8 million with about $2.2 of that amount going directly to Pass Christian Schools.
