DuPont DeLisle Sponsors Kite Fest and Flying Team
June 2, 2006 - The Seventh Annual Long Beach Kite Festival was held Saturday, May 20 at the Long Beach Harbor, with more than 1,000 people attending.
The DeLisle plant was the major sponsor of this year’s event as it has been since 2004. This year, the DeLisle Cooking Team was also on hand to prepare hamburgers, hot dogs, corn dogs, fries and chips for those attending the event. They worked non-stop all day, a special thanks to all of them!
The DeLisle Flying Team opened the festival by launching their 25-foot long DuPont flying machine.
