DeLisle Helps Raise Funds for American Heart AssociationJune 20, 2006 –DuPont DeLisle was recently a Silver Sponsor at the American Heart Association’s “And the Beat Goes On…” fundraising event. The event, held June 3 at the Imperial Palace in Biloxi, raised more than $85,000 for the organization. The annual event honors a Harrison County community leader who has been victorious in a personal battle with heart disease; this year’s honoree was Dr. Patrick Pierce. Simone Bellow, Yvonne Ellis, Margueritte Mayfield, Kathy Evans, Berinda Logan and Margaret Ladner represented DuPont at this premier event. Funds raised for the American Heart Association are used to support the fight against cardiovascular disease and stroke.
