Heartwalk Fundraising EventsOctober, 2006 - To date we have raised nearly $15,000 in support of the American Heart Association. This joint effort between DuPont and Zachry has been achieved through the hard work of the committee and the support of our team.
The Po-Boy Sale was a huge success and again only because of your support!
The Softball Tournament was a great event, it brought back memories of spending fun times together as co-workers. The winner of the Softball Tournament was the Hub 2 Team of Zachry. They had to beat DuPont twice to take home the gold. Third Place was the Terminators and fourth place went to Civil. Kinder Morgan and the Pit Bulls tied for last. Trophies and Tee Shirts were awarded at the end of September. A BIG - BIG THANKS to the Cooking Club!

The Car Show went on as scheduled in spite of the rain and it was a wonderful event for everyone to show-off their cars and trucks. Many of your co-workers not only took part in the show but won prizes as well. Very big thanks to Mary Fortenberry and Jim Perkins (yes our own retiree) for having the great contacts and know how to bring this event together.
The winner of the $300 Gift Raffle donated the prize back and it was won by: $100 Belks - Jo Saucier $100 Bed Bath & Beyond - Bernadette Colman $100 Academy - Earl Saucier.
The Bake Sale held at both gates on Monday, September 18th was a sweet event.... DuPont - Zachry Team raised more than $500.
