DeLisle Donates Building Materials
March 12, 2007 - The DeLisle plant recently made a donation of building materials (surplus materials from our plant’s storm recovery) to a Mennonite relief group that is helping rebuild houses devastated by Hurricane Katrina in Pass Christian.
The materials included approximately 1,000 sheets of 5/8”x4’x12’ sheetrock and four bundles of metal studs and should allow the Mennonites to complete the interiors of some two dozen homes.
Knight Transportation, one of our contract partners, assisted with providing a driver and a flatbed trailer to transport the material to Pass Christian.
