Let's Go Fly a Kite!

April 30, 2007 - DuPont DeLisle is proud to be a sponsor of the 8th Annual Mississippi Gulf Coast Kite Fest, which is rapidly approaching.  This year’s event will be held Saturday, May 5 from 10:00 until 4:00 at the Long Beach Harbor, admission will be $1 per person.

This year’s event promises to be even bigger and better than last year’s very successful festival.  There will be master kite flyers on hand and the DeLisle Kite Team will be there with their 25-foot DuPont flying machine.

For spectators who come without a kite and catch the fever, there will even be a kite vendor there who can take care of you your flying desires.
For the kids, there will be water slides, clowns, games and prizes as well as a free kite making workshop.

The Kite Fest was the first event to be held on the beach after Hurricane Katrina last year and was a huge success with hundreds of kites filling the blue skies of the Coast; this year’s event promises to be even better.  So bring your family and friends and enjoy a fun day at the beach!
