DeLisle Employees Demonstrate Support for the Nature Conservancy Oyster Reef Program
July 28, 2007 - On Saturday July 28th 7 employees and family members volunteered to assist the Nature Conservancy by providing sampling data for their new oyster reef restoration program sponsored by DuPont DeLisle.
The trip was very successful and the group’s volunteer spirit helped the Nature Conservancy. The group followed the study’s guidelines and caught a variety of species including ground mullet, white trout, speckled trout, catfish, blue crabs, croakers, and a few others.
Thanks to everyone who fished and those who provided boats:
Mike Murphy & Susan Hollandsworth of the Nature Conservancy were very appreciative for the team's effort with the oyster reef restoration program. The site also appreciates your donation of your time for a project that is important to us and our community. Special thanks to those of you who brought your boats! Without you folks we wouldn't have been able to do it!
