Arbor Day Festivities on the Mississippi Gulf Coast were a success due in part to the efforts of the site Sustainability Team! The team handed out almost 1,000 trees to our employees. The trees included Bald Cypress, Pine and two varieties of Oaks.;
In addition team members were involved in a number of area Arbor Day activities:
- Linda Clifton & Belinda Creel joined Dr. Hughes with the Mississippi State University extension service to hand out hundreds of trees in Bay St. Louis.
- Aaron Kerlin, Renee Brooks, Belinda Creel, and others helped clean up the Arboretum on Menge Ave in Pass Christian, MS.
Thanks to all the volunteers who gave up their time to represent the plant and help enhance and replant our community.
