The site kicked-off its revitalized Community Advisory Panel (CAP) in May. The CAP was formed based on input from site employees suggesting near neighbors as members and is a diverse group representing all the areas around the plant. A number of neighbors were invited to a reception in March to learn about CAP's and to see if there was an interest.
More than 20 neighbors responded that they would like to participate. During the first meeting the group learned about the DuPont Corporation, DuPont DeLisle and developed a list of issues to be used as upcoming meeting topics.
The panel will meet every other month to discuss issues relating to DuPont DeLisle and our neighboring communities.
