After Hurricane Gustav hit the Gulf Coast, the Pass Christian Water & Sewer system was unable to start up due to damages to two of their power transformers.
The system was going to have to wait days for replacements to be ordered and shipped.
DuPont DeLisle determined the community’s need, located the needed transformers and made arrangements to deliver that day. Through this effort the sewage treatment plant was able to start up earlier than planned.
