The DuPont DeLisle Cooking Club provided great food for the Boys & Girls Club of Pass Christian, MS, annual golf tournament.
The 2009 Boys & Girls club annual fundraiser golf tournament was again a success. Duane Wilson, B&GC Board member, reported that it was one of their best years, grossing $22,000 (almost 2 months of the annual operating budget). It was reported that again there were numerous compliments on the food that was served.
The club provided beef brisket, chicken and a number of sides.
Robin Roberts of ABC’s Good Morning America attended the event and she and her mother enjoyed the Cooking Club’s preparations.
Thanks to the team and we appreciate the good will they bring by they hard work and support of community events.
