DuPont DeLisle Launches Website

New Internet Site Will Provide Information to the Community: delisle.dupont.com

In an ongoing effort to provide up-to-date and accurate information about its manufacturing facility, DuPont announced today the launch of its DeLisle titanium dioxide plant’s community website offering interested parties a wide variety of information regarding the plant and its people.  The site offers one location, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, where those interested can see the breadth and scope of the happenings of the DeLisle plant.  The new site can be viewed at delisle.dupont.com.

“We are working hard to provide people in our community with as much information as we can about our DeLisle plant,” said Pat Nichols, plant manager.  “The new website will provide an easy-access source of information for people interested in who we are, what we make, our corporate citizenship and our corporate responsibility.  We plan to update this site very regularly and provide relevant information that will be of interest in our local community.”

The website will provide visitors with up-to-date information about the DuPont DeLisle facility including the plant’s vision and mission, products, environmental successes, economic impact, community service, safety and health.  The site also contains a press area where individuals can browse recent and archived press releases and find plant contact information.

The DuPont DeLisle site has operated in Mississippi for more than 25 years and produces titanium dioxide, a white pigment used widely in the paper, plastics and coatings industries.   DuPont is the world’s largest manufacturer of the pigment.
