Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) Holds DuPont DeLisle Deepwell Permit Public Hearing
MDEQ hosted a public hearing on November 1st in Pass Christian for the final review of the DuPont DeLisle deep well permit. The department representatives reviewed the permit and proposed changes and opened the meeting to public comments. Marc Holman, plant manager, read a statement for DuPont DeLisle and several attendees made comments.
This hearing outcome is a positive statement about the good work the plant is doing on a daily basis to communicate site operation’s commitment to the safety and the environment.
