DuPont DeLisle Sponsors 3 Area Teachers to Attend the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) Annual Conference
In March DuPont DeLisle sponsored 3 Mississippi Gulf Coast science teachers to attend the 56th NSTA National Conference on Science Education in Boston, Massachusetts. The conference began on Thursday, March 27th, and ended on Sunday, March 30th.
The theme for this year's conference was "Science: Bridge to the Future." The theme communicates the need to bring the very latest science content, research findings and teaching techniques to our children's classrooms.
Attending was Barbara Swilley and Diane Baughman of the Pass Christian School system and Marilyn Franke of Long Beach High School. All three of the teachers were excited about the opportunity to attend the national conference and eager to bring back latest information and techniques to their classrooms here on the coast.
