The DeLisle facility produces high-quality titanium dioxide, a white pigment used in manufacturing many typical household items you probably use on a daily basis. Titanium dioxide is ranked as one of the top fifty chemicals produced worldwide. TiO2 is used as a pigment for providing brightness, whiteness and opacity to products including paints, coatings, plastics, textiles, paper, inks, food, cosmetics and many other manufactured goods. The DeLisle facility produces grades used primarily in the coatings and plastics industries.
One of the most appealing aspects of TiO2 is that it is inert and not toxic in any form, making it a preferable substitute for lead oxide as the primary pigment used for producing goods.

Titanium dioxide adds value, and depending upon the grade of TiO2 used adds different qualities to the various products it is used to manufacture.
