DuPont Optilon Advanced Composite Reflectors (ACR)

DuPont™ Optilon™ advanced composite reflector (ACR) films are used in LCD backlights to improve overall LCD display performance while reducing cost and power consumption. Made from microfiber nonwoven composite materials, Optilon™ ACR films have intrinsically high reflectivity, high light diffusivity and excellent UV stability to reduce material costs, enhance display luminance and significantly improve display uniformity and UV stability over incumbent PET-based reflectors. By reducing the number of lamps needed in LCD devices, Optilon™ ACR films reduce both manufacturing costs and energy consumption.

Optilon™ ACR films are compatible with a variety of display BLU designs for both CCFL and LED light sources and are ideal for use in applications ranging from notebooks, monitors and industrial displays to televisions.
