DuPont Dordrecht applies for work time shortening
DuPont Dordrecht has submitted an application for work time shortening to the ministry of Social Affairs and Employment. “The demand for our products has rapidly decreased the last few months, caused by the drop of sales in the automotive industry”, says spokesman Willem Buitelaar.
The works council and the unions support the application. If the application is granted, employees will be offered training during the reduced working hours. DuPont Dordrecht has approximately 900 employees, producing a variety of plastics and synthetic rubbers.
