Transformers used in information technology equipment are required to meet safety standards IEC 60950 and UL60950.

DuPont Electrical Insulation Systems (EIS) can help meet these standards in transformers that require lead-free soldering, in either through hole or surface mounting. For Class B, DuPont Electrical Insulation System, LZ100, can be used. For Class F, LZ200, DuPont™ Zytel® HTN flame retardant grades are available.
