This high sophisticated enamel is mainly used for large generators and transformers due to its excellent mechanical properties. In addition from the good dielectric properties, the enamel shows outstanding chemical resistance which makes the wire suitable for use in hermetic applications and in oil filled transformers acc. to IEC60 851-4. It is particularly suitable for the production of flat wire for transposed cables (CTC).
