THEIC Polyesterimide Wire Enamels

These are highly heat-resistant insulation enamels with very good mechanical, electrical, chemical and thermal characteristics. These enamels are also ideal as a basecoat for dual coated wires – i.e. for electric motors, transformers or ballasts for fluorescent lights. An added advantage of these enamels is their resistance to hermetic fluids, as is demonstrated by specific versions being approved by Danfoss.

Voltatex® 7400
(former E 3529)

Voltatex® 7400 represents a class of magnet wire enamel based on THEIC-modified polyesterimide 

with good flexibility and excellent adherence with different solid contents such as Voltatex® 7437.

Voltatex® 7400 is specially designed preferably for the enamelling of rectangular but also of heavy 

round conductors. Voltatex® 7400 shows good edge covering when applied on strip magnet wire.

An application combined with a polyamideimide based topcoat in N-methylpyrrolidone solvent e.g.

Voltatex® 8200 or Voltatex® 8300 is possible.
Voltatex® 7300A (former E3537) 

Voltatex® 7300 A represents a class of magnet wire enamel based on a THEIC- modified polyesterimide 

resin with different solid contents such as Voltatex® 7325 A and Voltatex® 7338 A. Wires coated 

with

Voltatex® 7300 A have very good mechanical properties, high thermal rating and good chemical  

resistance.

Voltatex® 7300 A is used widely on wires for electrical motors, refrigeration equipment, transformer

windings and ballasts for fluorescent lamps.

Voltatex® 7300 A is UL listed for TI 200.

It is approved by Danfoss for use in hermetic compressors.
Voltatex® 7300B (former E 3538)

Voltatex® 7300 B represents a class of magnet wire enamel based on a
THEIC- modified polyesterimide 

resin with different solid contains such as
Voltatex® 7329 B, Voltatex® 7340 B and Voltatex

® 7346 B.

Magnet wires insulated with Voltatex® 7300 B combine high thermal rating with good chemical resistance 

and flexibility.

Voltatex® 7300 B is widely used on magnet wires for electrical motors, refrigeration equipment, transformer 

windings and also ballasts for fluorescent lamps.

Voltatex® 7300 B enamelled magnet wires are approved by Danfoss for use in hermetic compressors.
