The new Electrical-UV process is a true breakthrough from DuPont™ Voltatex®, which has dramatically changed the impregnating technology of electric motors, generators and transformers. Raising the temperature to the required curing temperature is not carried out using external heat, but by applying current to the wire winding. All outer surfaces are cured using ultra-violet radiation. Since the equipment needed for this technique does not need a large heating system, it is extremely compact and can be integrated directly into the overall electrical and mechanical manufacturing process.
